Black pine is a 20-30m tall evergreen which can reach the age of 500 years. It prefers a sunny location and is adaptable to a variety of soil types, making it a versatile option for any garden. This plant is also drought- tolerant. At young age its crown is conical and later it grows out to be flat. An exceptional choice for planting as a solitaire in bigger gardens or as an element of plant associations in the street or in parks. A beautiful bonsai can be raised from it.
