An evergreen with special appearance, soft crown and 20-25m height. Firstly, the crown is conical later tuning into an umbrella- like shape. The first place on the list of needle and cone size is owned by this plant, because the needles are 3-7cm and the cones are 7-11cm. The cones uniqueness is that when they are ripe, they glory in the colours of brownish- red. Deodar cedar loves a sunny, wet and moist location. It is drought- tolerant but needs watering if we want it to grow fast. This tree has an uncommon appearance as a solitaire.
