The tree is of medium vigour, spreading and moderately dense. Its shoots are reddish-burgundy. The leaves are dark green, only slightly spoon-shaped or flat, slightly wavy, with doubly and bluntly serrated edges. It starts bearing early and yields abundantly, but tends to alternate bearing. It flowers mid-early, often over an extended period. Self-fertile. Ripens in mid-July; the fruit is large or medium-sized (40–45 g) and roundish. The skin is finely downy, its colour gradually changing from light yellow to orange, washed with carmine red on the sunny side. The flesh is orange, semi-firm, finely fibrous, juicy, very tasty, pleasantly sweet-sour and aromatic, with a characteristic flavour. Freestone, with a sweet kernel. Thanks to its excellent quality it is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing (preserves, jam, juice).
