Hydrangea quercifolia Snowcicle

Height: 0,3–0,4 m

The oakleaf hydrangea Snowcicle is an ornamental hydrangea with large, double flowers 30-40 cm long that are creamy white when they open, then change color into a beautiful combination of pinkish red, pink, olive green and cream. The flower stems are held on strong stalks above and around the attractive foliage, which is 1.8-2 m tall and wide. The large, dark green leaves change color from brilliant shades of orange to deep burgundy in autumn. It prefers partial shade or part sun. It does not like direct sun, as its leaves will scorch. Well-structured, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil is ideal for it. It can be planted as a standalone plant in larger gardens, parks, or in combination with other plants.
