Hydrangea serrata Preziosa

Height: 0,3–0,4 m

The Preziosa hydrangea is a deciduous shrub that grows to a height of about 1-1.2 meters, with an upright branching system, developing into a spreading shrub. Its leaves are medium green with toothed edges. The flower head is round, with predominantly sterile flowers. It is a true color-changing variety: white at the start of flowering, then gradually turning to a darker pink, a pale burgundy shade. It prefers partial shade or part sun. Young plants do not tolerate frost, so we cover them for winter, but established specimens are hardier. It likes nutritious, well-drained, moist soil. It is lime-tolerant and feels good in average or acidic soil. Its water needs are moderate. It can be planted as a specimen plant or in perennial beds.
