Larix decidua

Height: 0,8–1 m

The larch is a cylindrical-conical deciduous tree that grows to a height of about 20-30m, possibly more. Its soft, flat, light green needles stand singly in a spiral on long shoots, and in clusters at the nodes on short shoots. Its egg-shaped cones are 2-4cm in size and remain on the branches for several years after opening. It likes a sunny spot, humid air and well-structured soil rich in nutrients. Water needs are medium. It is recommended to plant it as a specimen in larger gardens or in parks.
