Phormium Evening Glow

Height: 0,5–0,6 m

Phormium is an evergreen ornamental plant that can reach a height of up to 1 m. It produces long, straight leaves that curve slightly. The variegated leaves range from a wonderful mix of reds and pinks to bronze and purple tones on each leaf. This variety rarely flowers, but the color of the leaves makes up for it. It needs a sunny to partly shaded spot and nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate. It is frost-sensitive, so growing it in a pot is recommended. In winter it should be kept in a frost-free place.
