Sesleria heufleriana

Height: 0,3 m

Sesleria is a dense, tufted, evergreen ornamental grass that grows to a height of about 0.5-1 m, with narrow, bright green leaves in spring that turn blue-green with a silvery underside in summer. It flowers in early spring, with dark purple spikes on slender stems that turn into small white flowers. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded spot and well-structured, slightly acidic soil. It can look spectacular combined with other grasses and perennials.
