Sorbaria sorbifolia Sem

The name Sorbaria refers to its compound, pinnate leaves. This cultivar is distinguished by compact growth, meaning it does not exceed one meter in height even when fully grown. Sem is a deciduous ornamental shrub. Its creamy white, branched flower clusters bloom from July to August. The clusters are 10-15 centimeters long. It likes both sun and partial shade, so it can be planted in both sunny and semi-shaded spots. It requires well-drained soil rich in nutrients. It can be planted in combination with other perennials.
