Acer palmatum Trompenburg

Height: 1,6–1,7 m

The Trompenburg maple is a small, deciduous tree with special, deep red leaves. Its deeply cut leaves are deep red when they emerge, turn burgundy-green in summer, and take on a beautiful orange color in autumn. It can reach a height of up to 3-4 m. It needs a semi-shaded or shaded spot and sandy, neutral or acidic soil. It has high water needs. It is an essential plant for Japanese gardens, but also looks lovely in any other garden or front yard. The leaf shape, autumn color and striking branch structure of the Japanese maple decorate it throughout the season, so plant it in a clearly visible place in your garden and give it a prominent role.
