The ornamental onion Millenium is a perennial plant that attracts butterflies. Eye-catching from spring to autumn with its grassy, glossy, green leaves. In the second half of summer it produces its light purple-pink, pom-pom-like flowers. Its height is 40 cm. It likes a sunny spot and soil rich in nutrients, but sandy soil is also suitable. It tolerates drought very well. It blooms for many weeks and is also durable as a cut flower. A spectacular effect can be achieved by planting it in large numbers. It can be planted in a rock garden, but also in a mixed perennial bed.
