Apricot Ambrosia

Ambrosia, also known as Kuresia, is a self-fertile apricot variety resistant to the Sharka virus. The fruit is medium-sized, weighing about 35–40 g, round with a slight side suture; its base colour is orange with a bright red blush on the sunny side. The flesh is light orange, firm and very juicy, and the stone separates easily. The taste is pleasantly sweet-sour and strongly aromatic. It produces pink flowers in March–April. Ripens between the end of July and the beginning of August. The variety has good productivity and bears regularly and abundantly. Excellent for fresh consumption, jam making and processing. Transports well.
