Apricot NS rodna

The NS rodna apricot originates from Serbia. The fruit is very large, around 80 g, almost twice the size of Hungarian Best. Its fruits are attractive and of high quality. The skin is orange with a rosy blush on the sunny side. The flesh is orange, juicy, sweet-sour and very tasty, with a sweet kernel. The stone separates easily. Ripens in the second half of July. The tree is moderately vigorous. It flowers late, avoiding late spring frosts. It starts bearing early and yields more regularly and abundantly than other varieties. As its kernel is sweet, it is suitable for brandy making, since the stones do not need to be removed.
