Berberis thunbergii Pow Wow

Height: 0,4–0,6 m

Berberis Pow Wow is a medium-sized, deciduous, thorny shrub, 0.9-1 m tall. It forms a narrow, columnar shrub. Its leaves are green with creamy white spots. Small, yellow flowers bloom in April. The fruit is a red, slightly elongated berry. It requires a sunny spot, but also likes light partial shade. Because of their light color, the leaves can scorch in hot sun. It likes well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate. It can be planted as a specimen plant, in combination with other perennial plants or used as a hedge.
