Buxus

Height: 0,5–0,6 m

Columnar boxwood is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows 3m tall, with a dense system of branches. Its fragrant, greenish flowers bloom in April-May, but are less conspicuous. It likes partial shade, but tolerates drought and hot sun, as well as full shade. Water needs are moderate and it is not fussy about soil. It can be shaped easily, so it can be turned into a winding hedge, a large ball, or even an animal shape.
