Elaeagnus ebbingei Gilt edge

Height: 0,3–0,5 m

Gilt Edge is an evergreen shrub with lush foliage, upward-pointing shoots and broad leaves. It can reach a height of 2-3 m. Its leaves are broadly lance-shaped, dark green with golden yellow edges and a glossy surface. Its flowers are small, fragrant, creamy white and bloom in autumn. The fruit is a brown-orange oval berry. It needs a sunny to partly shaded spot and well-structured soil. It tolerates polluted air well. It can be planted as a specimen plant, as a hedge, or together with other perennials.
