Euonymus japonicus Albomarginatus

Variegated euonymus is a densely branched, medium-sized evergreen shrub. It can reach a height of up to 1.5 m. Its leaves are oblong-ovate, edged with white. Its small, insignificant greenish-yellow flowers bloom in April and May. Its fruit is a red berry. It likes a sunny or partially shaded spot and well-structured soil rich in nutrients. Its water needs are moderate. All parts of the plant are mildly poisonous, so it should be planted with special care. It deserves a central place as a specimen plant because of its decorative foliage, but it also looks good in colorful shrub groups or as a hedge.
