Lonicera nitida Golden Glow

Height: 0,3–0,4 m

Golden-leaved lonicera is a low, semi-evergreen or evergreen shrub in sheltered areas, growing to about 1 m in height and 1-1.5 m in width. Densely branched, it is a perfect choice as a ground cover. Individual shoots root on their own, which makes it ideal for covering larger areas. The flowering is inconspicuous. Small flowers appear between May and June. It prefers sunny or partially shaded spots. It grows in any good-quality soil. It needs a moderate amount of water, with watering after planting and during longer droughts. It tolerates pruning well. Thanks to its adaptability and aesthetic qualities, it is a favorite choice for shaping hedges, formal gardens and topiary.
