Osmanthus heterophyllus Goshiki

Height: 0,2–0,3 m

An evergreen ornamental shrub with an upright system of shoots. Its leaves are large, toothed, glossy and green, variegated with cream. It grows to about 1.5-2m in height and 1.5-2m in width. Its flowers are white and fragrant, and bloom in early autumn along the upper part of the shoot. The flowers are eye-catching, with a perfume-like scent. The fruit is an ashy, oval, bluish-black drupe. It grows nicely in sunny to partly shaded spots. It does not like direct sun. It grows well in well-structured soil rich in nutrients. Its water needs are moderate, but regular watering is advisable. An exceptionally decorative shrub that attracts attention in every season, as its evergreen, striking foliage provides a beautiful sight, which is why it can even be the central element in plant groupings.
