Perovskia atriplicifolia Prime Time

Russian sage Prime Time is a perennial subshrub that grows to about 0.6-0.8 m in height, with beautiful lavender-colored flowers and aromatically scented leaves. The leaves are small and silvery green. The flowers are fragrant, small and purple. It blooms for a very long time, from the end of June to September. It likes a sunny spot and well-structured soil. Water needs are moderate. Its special feature is that the whole plant is fragrant, so it is excellent forage for bees and can be a good choice in a garden friendly to butterflies and insects. It can be planted in a rock garden or a small garden, and in combination with any perennials it gives the garden a beautiful look.
