Prunus laurocerasus Genolia

Cherry laurel Genolia is a broadleaf evergreen plant that can reach a height of 2-3m and a width of 0.6-1m. A fast-growing plant with a dense branching system and a broad columnar shape. Its foliage consists of large, leathery, glossy dark green leaves. Its flowers are small and white, and from April to May they adorn the plant in upright, candle-like clusters. Its fruit is a black berry, a favorite food among birds. It can be planted in sun or partial shade. It likes well-structured soil rich in nutrients. Water needs are moderate. It tolerates pruning well, so it can be planted as a hedge, a specimen, or in combination with other perennials.
