Thuja occidentalis Smaragd - Emerald arborvitae

Height: 0,4–0,5 m

Thuja occidentalis Smaragd is the best-known slender, dense, conical evergreen, growing 4–5 m tall. It keeps its emerald-green colour through winter. Not fussy about soil, but prefers moist, fertile ground in sun or partial shade. Needs regular watering and grows quickly in good conditions. Excellent for hedges, and also looks great as a solitaire or combined with other plants.
