Cytisus Andreanus

Height: 0,2–0,3 m

An ornamental deciduous shrub of exotic appearance that reaches a height of 1-1.3m and a width of 1m. A compact shrub with a light look, thanks to its small leaves and flexible branches, which are narrow and green. It blooms from May to the end of June with fragrant red flowers adorned with a yellow edge. What makes it special is that its branches stay green over winter. It requires a sunny and warm spot and well-drained soil, and does not like too much moisture. After flowering it needs to be pruned, for better development and flowering the following year. It looks nice in combination with other perennials.
