Lantana Camara Feston Rose

Lantana camara is known as a bushy evergreen plant or small tree that can reach a height of 1-1.5 m. With pruning it can be grown into any shape. Its root system is strong and it grows quickly. Its opposite, simple, folded, elongated, dark green leaves grow directly along thick branches. The leaves and shoots are also hairy. Its flower clusters develop at the tips of the shoots and adorn the plant from late spring to late autumn; butterflies and bees love it most. It also comes in white, pale purple, dark red and pink flower varieties. Its leaves and flowers give off a pungent, lemony scent. It likes a sunny spot and well-structured soil. Its water needs are moderate. It is frost sensitive and should be moved to a sheltered place in winter. It can be planted in a pot or a planter.
