Bristly Locust
Height: 1,8–2,1 m
Bristly Locust is a 3m tall shrub native in North America, while we know it as a trunk grafted ornamental tree with a spherical crown. The brownish red sprouts have little hairs on them. The butterfly- like, pink flowers bloom in May. Bristly Locust prefers a sunny, wind- proof location with well- structured soil and humble water- demand. It forbears drought well. An excellent choice for planting as a solitaire so it can express its beauty.
